Taru Holinsworth has approximately eight years of experience in Environmental Sciences. She has conducted 250+ Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) across a majority of U.S. states. Her project portfolio spans a diverge range of property types, including:
• Industrial: steel manufacturing facilities, sand mines, silica sand processing plants, glass factories, chemical production sites, and oil and gas support facilities.
• Commercial: multi-story office buildings, medical clinics, strip malls, gas stations, and funeral homes.
• Residential/Mixed-Use: apartment complexes, mobile home parks, and mixed-use developments.
Her work consistently reflects a strong understanding of site-specific environmental conditions and regulatory frameworks at both federal and state levels. Since completing ASTM Property Condition Assessor training in March 2023, independently prepared approximately 30 Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), including Immediate and Deferred Maintenance Cost Schedules and 12-Year Capital Reserve Schedules.
Ms. Holinsworth has installed tens of monitoring wells; and purged, gauged, and sampled hundreds of monitoring wells. A significant portion of the monitoring wells were associated with gas stations, and leaking underground storage tank (LUST) cases. She is skilled in interpreting laboratory data, and comparing the results with federal and state-specific action levels. She has prepared approximately a dozen Risk Based Corrective Action (ORBCA) Tier 1 and Tier 2 reports for Oklahoma Corporate Commission.
Taru Holinsworth has a total of 28 years’ experience as a Geologist. She has practiced multiple disciplines of Geology, starting as a Diamond Exploration Geologist, followed by Mining Geologist, and 10 years as a Petroleum Geologist. She has also logged hundreds of geotechnical borings, and several miles of rock core. Some of the work has been conducted in US Army bases, and she was awarded with a favorable public trust security clearance in 2018.
